Barbara Sobol

Barbara works as an academic librarian with students and faculty in multiple disciplines, which provides her with a daily opportunity to consider the real-life implications of mis/disinformation, data privacy, and locating and evaluating information sources.  Her research has focused on the efficacy of library instruction and services, the social value of libraries, and recently, the role of libraries in supporting data literacy.
