Through our research, we strive to cultivate a well-informed and respectful understanding of data transparency, strengthen AI literacy for responsible and safe use and champion a governing framework that meets Canada's needs.

We are exploring what tools and knowledge individuals need to safely and effectively utilize  AI technologies. Our research evaluates AI literacy standards from various disciplinary perspectives, including computer science, engineering, education, political science and library sciences. The primary outcome of our research is to empower citizens to use AI tools effectively while thinking critically about AI-generated products and information.
